Mother’s Day eve

Today was our monthly Second Saturday Scrap, and I had Mother’s Day on my mind. My first task of the day (after watching the Indoor Soccer games of both granddaughters) was to make a Mother’s Day card for my daughter. Some people would say that giving her a card is ridiculous — after all, she is not my mother — but she is my daughter and one of two big reasons that I am a mother.

I had a fun time, using our White Daisy cardstock, Laughing Lola B&T Duos paper, and MyAcrylix “Mother’s Day” stamp set. My only frustration was that I couldn’t share my results on Facebook, because I didn’t want her to see her card ahead of time! Maybe tomorrow. (Meanwhile, if you would like a closer look at the component parts, visit my Online Business Address.

Here is another card I made using the Laughing Lola B&T Duos papers. The inside caption reads, “Friend, you lift me up.”

"Friend, you lift me up."

“Friend, you lift me up.”

    • Thank you, Trina. Wait until you see the ones Georgia did for Mother’s Day. She followed a tutorial on Youtube and went berserk with CTMH papers. – Fawn
