I had such a good time doing last month’s Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop that I decided to do it again for July. If you are new to the concept, it goes like this: You visit (hop) from one blog to the next in order until you find yourself back where you started. This particular hop has 14 participants, (I’m 12th). You should have come to me from Jen Patrick’s blog. (If you are starting here with me, you can reach Aggie Peters and Denise Elliott at the end of the circle. So when you finish here, please go visit Aggie Peters.
The challenge this month was to “Bling It Up” and give it attitude. As I have said before, I am a recovering “naked scrapper”, so adding any bling at all seems foreign to me…but fun! So here goes:
Supplies Needed:
Laughing Lola Paper Packet (X7170B)
Laughing Lola Assortment (Z1854)
Silver Shimmer Trim (Z1799)
Clear Sparkles Assortment (Z1752)
Paisley Perfect Flair MyAcrylix Stamp Set (C1556)
Card base: White Daisy Card, 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″, fold at the top
Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad, Black (Z2105)
3-D Foam Tape (Z1151)
(To order supplies, go directly to my Online Business Address.)
Cut the Laughing Lola B&T paper #1 5″x4″. Adhere a strip of Silver Shimmer Trim flush with the bottom edge of the card; the B&T paper will go on top of it and “float” to give more dimension. With Black Exclusive Inks, stamp “a touch of class and a lot of sass!” and large paisley design as shown. Using the reverse side of the B&T paper, fussy-cut a turquoise and pink flower and adhere using 3-D Foam Tape for depth.
Add bling with the large jewel from the Laughing Lola Assortment and medium clear sparkles on the paisley stamp, and a large clear sparkle in the center of the turquoise and pink flower. At the last minute I tucked a medium clear sparkle in the upper left-hand corner of the card because it pleased me.
I left the inside of this card blank.
